As fans saw in Never Say Never, Justin Bieber has got mad game. Seriously yo, he can dish that rock to the hole with the best of them.

But even still, the biggest Beliebers couldn't believe it when Mark Wahlberg revealed that he'd hand-picked the singer to star in a new basketball-themed movie he was producing and starring in.

"I'm pretty intuitive," Mark recently told MTV about his decision to put the pop star in a feature film. "I see the guy and spent time with him, and you see what he does and how he does it, and then you actually have a conversation with him, and it's there. Wait till you see me and Bieber in the flick."

As for the movie itself, Mark describes it as Color of Money-esque. Although realizing Paramount wanted him for the "old guy" role did come as a shock to the former ingenue.

"So I get this call from Paramount [with a story about] an old guy and a young guy. I'm like, 'Cool, let's get Jack [Nicholson]. Let's get Robert De Niro. Let's get Robert Duvall.' And they go, 'What about Garrett Hedlund?' I'm like, 'For what?' " he further recalled. "They're like, 'For the young guy.' "
