Power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt enjoyed a few hours away from their brood in Palm Springs Saturday night to hit up the PSIFF where Brad was to receive a prestigious honor for his work on the film Moneyball.

The uber-busy mother of six walked the red carpet alongside her man, who showed up to the night's festivities, to the surprise of many, hobbling with the support of a cane. The injury was evidently the result of a spill he took while skiing with one of his daughters.

Irregardless, Angie said the pair was having a lovely time at PSIFF, as she beamed with pride for her partner. "He's worked so hard," she said. "It's wonderful."

Jolie admitted they'd be cutting the night short unfortunately, the girls had a very important day to look forward to. "We're rushing back to the kids tonight," said Angie. "We have a birthday party in the morning with our daughters."

The PSIFF awards were hosted by former Entertainment Tonight host, Mary Hart on Saturday January 7 in Palm Springs, California.
