Seth Rogen Preps For 'The Apocalypse'
Back in 2007, Seth Rogen and Jay Baruchel produced a trailer for a fake movie called Jay and Seth vs The Apocalypse that they hoped to eventually get made.
Well The Apocalypse is nigh as Seth confirmed on Ryan Seacrest's radio show this morning that the now-timely end of the world comedy is his next project.
In addition to writing, co-directing with Evan Goldberg and starring in the movie, Seth revealed that Jay, James Franco, Jonah Hill and Craig Robinson would also appear in the film.
When pressed for details, Seth said, "It's about us, trapped in a house ... we can't figure out how to feed ourselves ... and we all eventually turn on each other."
Expect the movie, which is in the final stages of negotiations according to Seth, to find a very timely release date around the end of the year -- which may or may not be the end of our existence as well, depending on which calendar you believe.
