The Insider's Matte Babel caught up with the stars at one of Oscar night's most popular bashes -- the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party, which raised $5.25 million for the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson said on the red carpet he was happy to be rooting for his friend Octavia Spencer -- who took home the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Help -- but he added his opinion that Octavia doesn't need the breast lift she says she's planning to get as a post-Oscar splurge.

Neil Patrick Harris said he enjoys watching the Oscar telecast, but admitted it would be a whole different experience viewing the show in public. "I'm worried about the heckle. I'm hoping that there's fun people at my table so we can do some --- you know, heckle, heckle, heckle. Cause that's what you do at the Oscars, right? You talk about dresses and hairdos and 'Oh no, they didn't."

Vanessa Hudgens -- who arrived at the party looking gorgeous in a shimmering gold gown designed by Georges Chakra -- revealed that the best part of her night was seeing last night's Best Actress winner. "My highlight of the night was just seeing Meryl Streep win yet again -- the most deserving actress I think in the business. And she looked phenomenal and she's achieved so many great things, so it made me really happy."
