To mark the 100th anniversary of the Titanic's fateful voyage, Britain's ITV has tapped Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes to write a four-part miniseries that will extensively recreate the days and nights leading up to its sinking.

You know what might have been easier? For ITV to buy the rights to air James Cameron's Titanic. Surely it would have saved them a little cash.

And it's not like that version was short on details at 194 minutes or skimped on effects since it reportedly cost $200 million.

So anyway, prepare to hear "Iceberg, right ahead!" once again as you watch upstairs/downstairs on a boat!
