Angelina Jolie Passes on 'Salt' Sequel
Ever since Angelina Jolie's 2010 actioner Salt shook up the box office, claiming more than $293 million worldwide, Sony Pictures has been trying to put together a sequel since Hollywood needs all the female fronted action franchises it can get.
Or, successful female fronted action franchises, rather.
Sadly for fans of the bait-and-switch espionage adventure, Moviehole reports that the actress has turned down the first draft of a potential sequel, written by original scribe Kurt Wimmer. He will reportedly take another pass at the script in hopes of incorporating Jolie's notes; "making her happy" enough to sign on.
Perhaps she's just hoping for her right leg to get a more prominent role...
