'The Lorax' Tops Box Office

Dr. Suess' The Lorax found its way into audience's hearts and wallets over the weekend, beating out Disney's John Carter for box office supremacy.
The Lorax Has Blockbuster Debut
The animated tale pulled in $39 million for its second week in theaters, while John Carter debuted to the tune of $30.6 million.
Silent House and Eddie Murphy's A Thousand Words both opened quietly, reeling in $7 million and $6.3 million, respectively.
