The hyped film The Hunger Games had its world premiere yesterday with a slew of celebrities and a plethora of fans cheering and emitting high-pitched screams that set the night's tone.
With such an ecstatic fan base already in place from the book series, the stars addressed the frequent comparisons that are being made to the Twilight series.

"That's great to be compared to Twilight but when have our own fans," said star Jack Quaid. "We have our own thing going on…I'd say we're a very different film."
Quaid's co-star Jacqueline Emerson responded similarly, saying, "It's really humbling just to think that it's in the same sentence as Twilight because that series was so successful [and] if this could be a smidge of that, it would be absolutely amazing."
