Julia Roberts is currently one of Hollywood's most iconic faces, and although she has made acting her profession, she revealed to The Insider during an interview for her upcoming film Mirror Mirror what her career would be if she was not an actress.

"I would be a school teacher," Roberts divulged, then explaining her selection. "When I had great teachers, it made such a mark on my life and it's such a relentless profession…It's an amazing thing to be part of a child's life on that regular basis."

Julia Roberts' Film Career is Just a 'Hobby'

Although Roberts is playing an atypical sinister role in the upcoming film, she revealed that she enjoyed playing the role and was fascinated by the world that the film creates.

"You simply become immersed in this place that is so fascinating," she said. "I just hope people get lost in it when they go see it…It's a whole different world and I just hope people can go [see the film] and get lost for a couple of hours and have a good time."

Julia Roberts Reminisces on Her Younger Years

Roberts' co-star Lily Collins, a rising star who plays Snow White in the film, revealed that she was so surprised when she got the role that she thought it was a joke partially because she received the news on April Fools' Day.
