'Titanic 3D' Falls to 'Hunger Games'

The Hunger Games ran up against some steep competition over the holiday weekend, facing the debuts of American Reunion and Titanic 3D, but both failed to unseat the blockbuster from its top spot at the box office.
Hunger Games Clobbers Box Office
In its third week in release, The Hunger Games pulled in $33.5 million over the three-day weekend, bringing its cumulative domestic gross to $302.8 million.
American Reunion pulled in $21.5 million, while Titanic 3D landed in third with $17.4 million.
