In the featured flashback, which happened on this date in 1996, Hayek talks about whether she subscribes to the theory of love at first sight, upon which the film is predicated.

"When it comes to love I get confused," the then-30-year-old Hayek says when prompted about her feelings on love at first sight. "I almost want to believe in love at first sight but it's a scary thing...I think that love really comes with continuity...and being able to overcome things together. It's a long process but I definitely believe that you can see somebody and it can just hit you from that."

Although she maintained a purely on-screen love affair with co-star Matthew Perry, Hayek reveals that she is getting along great with the Friends star and has developed a unique technique for his constant on-set humor.

"He makes all these jokes and I'm thinking of the scene or something else and he gets offended when I don't laugh," she describes, "So, what I do now is I just look at him and I go, 'That's funny'...so that he doesn't feel bad...I really actually think it's funny. I just gotta get on with the scene."
