'The Avengers' Earns Biggest Opening Ever!

Marvel's The Avengers earned the biggest opening weekend in history, pulling in $200.3 million domestically.

The former record holder, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows: Part 2 made $169.2 million when it premiered last summer.
The Avengers worldwide earnings measured out to $641.8 million, reeling in $441.5 million overseas.
Trailing behind The Avengers was Think Like a Man and The Hunger Games, which earned $8 million and $5.7 million, respectively.
