'MIB 3' Overtakes 'Avengers' at No. 1

After three weeks of dominating the box office, Marvel's The Avengers has been overtaken as the No. 1 box office film by Men in Black 3, which grossed an estimated $55 million in its debut weekend.

The Avengers, which continued its strong sales at the box office, finished in second with an estimated $36.9 million to bring its domestic total to $513.5 million.
Board game adaptation Battleship dropped over 50 percent in its second week in theaters, finishing in third with $10.9 million over the weekend.

Trailing behind The Dictator, which pulled in $9.3 million in its second weekend, was thriller Chernobyl Diaries with $8 million in its debut weekend.
