Almost everyone likes to blow off steam by playing video games, and Steven Spielberg is no exception. But is the legendary director the "King of Kong"?

In our vintage footage from the tail end of a 1982 interview with Spielberg just months before the release of Poltergeist and E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial (note the E.T. pin on his lapel), the director shows off his skills – or lack thereof - playing Donkey Kong in his office while chit-chatting with the interviewer.
"You really can get out all your hostilities on this game," declares Spielberg before losing.
