Every now and then, a trailer looks so mind-blowingly original, effortlessly exciting and visually intoxicating, you fear the finished film could never live up to those lofty expectations.

But I have a feeling that will not be the case with The Man with The Iron Fists -- not only because it's produced by master of decadent disaster, Quentin Tarantino, but co-written by the endlessly inventive Eli Roth and directed by rapper extraordinaire RZA.

The movie tells the epic story of warriors, assassins and a lone outsider hero in nineteenth-century China who must unite to destroy the clan traitor who would destroy them all. It's as if Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon had a baby with Kill Bill and then that child banged Sam Peckinpah's brain to birth a new breed of badass bloodshed.

In addition to starring co-writer/director RZA, Iron Fists features Russell Crowe, Lucy Liu giving her best O-Ren Ishi realness, Pam Grier and an army of martial arts loving stunt men. Check out the red band trailer above (via), and watch as the movie's tagline perfectly encapsulates everything I love about this 2012 release!
