'Ted' Enjoys Magical Debut

R-rated films Ted and Magic Mike double teamed the weekend box office, premiering at first and second place, respectively.

The comedy, starring Mark Wahlberg and the voice of Seth McFarlane, topped the charts, pulling in $52.5 million, while Magic Mike trailed just behind with $38 million for a raunchy one-two punch.
The PG-13 comedy Madea's Witness Protection debuted in fourth place, reeling in $27 million, and third belonged to Brave, which made $35.5 million.
