TheInsider.com revealed in February that Naomi Watts would be playing the late Princess Diana in a new biopic, and now you can get your first look at the Oscar nominee in full regal regalia.

The resemblance between Naomi and Diana is uncanny as the actress films a scene for Caught in Flight, in which The People's Princess arrives to the Royal Opera House.

Actresses have a tremendous track record of gaining Academy Award attention after playing iconic, historical figures -- Meryl Streep won Best Actress in 2011 for playing Margaret Thatcher while Michelle Williams scored her third nomination for playing Marilyn Monroe.
