Amy Poehler's Sexual 'Freak' Out
Amy Poehler co-founded and helped bring The Upright Citizens Brigade (an improv comedy troupe that emerged from Chicago's ImprovOlympic in 1990) to the masses thanks to a hugely popular NYC performance space and a Comedy Central series that ran from 1998 to 2000.

And Amy's continuing to help the brand, and its members, increase in visibility by co-starring in Freak Dance, a new movie written by Matt Besser, another UCB founding member. The film (a parody of dance films like Step Up, Dirty Dancing and You Got Served) follows the sexy and wealthy Cocolonia, who dreams of escaping her overbearing mother (Poehler) and finding someone to share her love of dance.
