Jack Black has always been known for his humorous ways, which incorporates into his music with his band Tenacious D.
This Pop Culture Rewind takes you back to 2000 for a behind-the-scenes look at Saving Silverman, a film in which Black was able to mix his two professional worlds of acting and music when he took the stage with Neil Diamond in the film.
"You know, I have an unfair advantage 'cause I am a rock star on the side but my first love is acting," Black says in the featured flashback. "I was jammin' earlier with Neil [Diamond] and there's something that we share: we understand what it is to rock."
After declaring his affection for Diamond, who he calls a "legend," Black gives a snippet of his rendition of Diamond's "America."
Check out the video above for a behind-the-scenes look at Saving Silverman's final scene in which Diamond and Black perform together.
