Movies quite often give me chills. But movie trailers rarely do. However, I am covered in goosebumps after watching (three times) the first look at November's Life of Pi.

Although I shouldn't be surprised since director Ang Lee continues to find new and visually dazzling ways to stir my emotions -- whether it's the heart-wrenching emotions brought to vivid life in Sense & Sensibility or the expectation-recalibrating action in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, the Academy Award-winner is one of the most dependable inspirers of awe.

And judging from the stunning visuals captured in this teaser trailer, Ang will not only bring audiences beyond the edge of glory with his adaptation of the best-selling book, but he just might be giving his Best Director Oscar a buddy to hang out with.
