Despite the tragic events surrounding the movie, The Dark Knight Rises is still going strong in its second week in theaters.

The finale to Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy is on track to become the third fastest flick to reach $300 million, behind The Dark Knight and Marvel's The Avengers.

The superhero movie pulled in $64 million over the weekend, edging out Ice Age 4, which made $13.3 million for its third week out.

Step Up Revolution settled for a disappointing $11.8 million debut, landing in fourth, behind The Watch's $13 million weekend.
