The Los Angeles Times reports that the autobiographical documentary that she is directing will combine concert footage and candid interviews to provide a look into the star's life and music, although it's not clear which period of her very busy life the film focuses on.

Twenty minutes of footage has reportedly already been shown to distributors.

The new mom has a few other film projects in the works as well, including voiceover work on the animated adventure Epic and the lead role in Clint Eastwood's update of A Star is Born, which was postponed to accommodate Beyonce's pregnancy.
