Why Him: Nick is described as a disarmingly good-looking writer, whose smile makes women weak in the knees. But Nick is weak himself, and no one has mastered the art of mask-wearing characters like the eight-time Emmy-nominee.

Why Her: She's played super sweet and utterly evil -- but never in the same film. Making the audience love and hate a character in equal measure is tough, but she's more than capable of finding that fine line. And doing so, Emily might find herself back on Oscar's short list (albeit in an upgraded category).
