'Taken' Gets 'Stolen' By Nicolas Cage
Nicolas Cage has balls of steel. Not only has the Oscar-winner clearly cribbed the idea for his latest movie from Liam Neeson's Taken, but he's also flaunting it with a title that will quite likely become the crux of many review headlines.
OK, so there are plenty of differences between Liam Neeson's Taken and Nicolas Cage's Stolen (Cage plays a reformed robber forced to pull off one last heist to pay off his daughter's kidnappers, while Neeson simply killed every European in hopes of rescuing his kidnapped daughter from a life of sex slavery) -- but at its core, Stolen is Taken.
