'Seven' Reasons To See This Movie
I was just alerted to the trailer for Seven Psychopaths via an email that began, "The Shih-Tzu just got real!" Thankfully things got better from there!
Here are the Top 7 Reasons to see Seven Psychopaths:
1. The Boys
Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, Christopher Walken, Zeljko Ivanek and Tom Waits have come together to tell the story of a struggling screenwriter inadvertently becomes entangled in the Los Angeles criminal underworld after his oddball friends kidnap a gangster's beloved Shih Tzu.
2. The Writer/Director
Martin McDonagh previously wrote and directed the inspired In Bruges.
3. Feelin' Funny
It was on that aforementioned project where Colin not only got to flex his rarely seen, but well-honed funnybone, but the actor scored his first Golden Globe for the performance.
4. Accent-uate the Positive
Colin also gets to use his natural Irish brogue, which also rarely makes a big screen appearance.
5. Killer Cameo
The divine Gabourey Sidibe has a small but memorable role as the dog sitter who loses the Shih Tzu in question.
6. Smallest Co-Stars
Since the main characters run a shady business where they steal dogs and then return them to their owners for the reward money, which means puppy lovers will likely glimpse a whole host of adorable doggies.
7. Christopher Walken
