'Lawless' Comes Up Short at Box Office

Shia LaBeouf's crime western, Lawless, is expected to fall short of the No. 1 box office slot over the holiday weekend, being bested by The Possession.
The horror flick, starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Kyra Sedgwick, is projected to pull in $21.3 million over the 4-day holiday (including Friday), while Lawless is expected to wrangle up $15.1 million.
The Expendables 2 is expected to take third place with $11.2 million in its third week in theaters.
