Lincoln, You Tease!
Steven Spielberg's highly anticipated Lincoln starring Daniel Day-Lewis doesn't address theaters until November 9, and up until now the only image we've seen from the film is a static shot of the brooding title character. Now, a few frames from the film are actually being teased in a special Live Google Hangout trailer, and we've got it right here.
First Look: Daniel Day-Lewis as 'Lincoln'
The full first trailer for Lincoln will make its world premiere exclusively on Entertainment Tonight this Thursday night. The trailer will make its online debut the same day HERE at 7pm EDT, followed by a Live Google Hangout with Spielberg and one of the film's stars, Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
The historical drama focuses on the last four months of Abraham Lincoln's life and the political strategizing he undertook at the close of the Civil War to ensure that slavery would be forever outlawed. The Spielberg film also stars David Strathairn as Lincolns loyal Secretary of State, William Seward; Gordon-Levitt and Gulliver McGrath as Lincolns sons, Robert and Tad; Sally Field as his wife Mary Todd Lincoln; and Tommy Lee Jones as Thaddeus Stevens, a radical member of Lincoln's own party.
