The big screen adaptation of Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl's bestseller Beautiful Creatures is still several months away, but today we have the first teaser trailer to curb your anticipation.

The supernatural drama follows two young lovers, Ethan (Alden Ehrenreich) and Lena (Alice Englert), who uncover dark secrets about their families and their town.

Beautiful Creatures -- also starring Emmy Rossum, Viola Davis, Emma Thompson and Jeremy Irons -- opens February 13, 2013.
