That's the, sorta, premise behind the new movie, Identity Theft -- where both Melissa McCarthy and Arrested Development's Jason Bateman fall into roles (strong-willed woman who unselfconsciously throws her weight around, exasperated straight man) they became famous for.

In the film, Jason plays Sandy Bigelow Patterson, a slightly feminine name that makes it all the easier for McCarthy's Diana to co-opt as she spends his cash on recliners, boozy nights out and perms (I'm guessing on the last one).

FIRST LOOK - Identity Theft

Inevitably the two forge an uneasy alliance, and hilarity ensues. Again, I'm guessing there, but after watching the trailer, it's more of an educated guess.
