Bond's Swim Trunks Went for How Much?!
October 09, 2012
Daniel Craig started his stint as James Bond in a pair of unforgettable skimpy blue swim trunks, and this past week, the tiny shorts featured in the Casino Royale beach scene went to one lucky (and rich) patron.
The swimsuit went up for auction at Christie's on Friday in London, and sold for a whopping $72,000!!! Dame Judi Dench (who plays M in the Bond series) helped sell the shorts, saying, "All I'm going to tell you is they're unwashed."

Also sold at the Bond auction was the Quantum of Solace Aston Martin DBS. That came with the hefty price tag of $390,000.
There were 50 other Bond memorabilia pieces sold, just on the heels of the release of Skyfall, which hits theaters in the states on Nov. 9.
