He's not Coach Taylor, but Ed Burns is close enough! Friday Night Lights beauty Connie Britton stars in a new holiday film where she's romanced by the tall, dark and handsome actor.
A New York native, Burns returns to Long Island for The Fitzgerald Family Christmas, a film that follows a family that is debating on allowing their estranged father to spend Christmas with them. Amid the family arguments, Burns' down-home character Gerry meets the girl-next-door Nora and the two begin to fall for each other.
The romantic movie hits theaters Dec. 7.
Britton, 45, has been busy since FNL. After her stint on the first season of American Horror Stories, she now stars on the ABC drama Nashville.
