Kellan Lutz Thinks He's Oscar Material

We haven't seen the last of Kellan Lutz, according to him. The actor laid out his career aspirations to DuJour magazine, and this Twilight heartthrob sees awards in his future.
"I want to act for the rest of my life. I'll win an Oscar one day, but I’m in no rush to get there," Lutz, 27, tells the magazine. "I don't care if that takes me 50 years, and I'm old. I just love what I do.'
For now, he'll just have to accept MTV awards because he's coming up on the final installment of The Twilight Saga in Breaking Dawn Pt. 2. "It really is bittersweet," he says of leaving his vampire days behind. "It's very much like high school…and I'm ready to graduate."

If this acting thing doesn't work out, Lutz does admit he has another passion, chemistry! "I know a lot about chemical reactions, but it's interesting to see how you mix two chemicals together and heat starts forming. I even made some polyurethane! It's great because acting has given me the resources and platform to help charities but also the money to create my inventions and pay for the patent process. Attorneys aren't cheap!"
What do you think? Does Lutz have staying power in acting, or should he pursue chemistry?
