The Griffins are coming to the big screen, according to creator Seth MacFarlane, but he's still not sure when this will happen.
During a surprise appearance at UCLA for mtvU's series Stand In, MacFarlane, 39, not only announced a new Oscars hopefuls contest, The Oscar Experience College Search, but he also confirmed that he has a concept for a feature-length Family Guy flick (via Huffington Post). MacFarlane, who voices three of the Griffin characters, assured the class that "it will happen at some point."

He then moved on to chatting about his upcoming hosting gig at a "crazy little variety show" called the Academy Awards. "The (hosts) who have not done well, I would classify them as a noble failure, an honorable failure, because at least they were trying something new," he said of those who've come before him. "All I can do is my very best."
Do you think MacFarlane will be a good Oscars host, and, more importantly, would you watch a Family Guy movie?
