First Look at Tom Hardy as Mad Max
Mad Max: Fury Road has been a long time in the making, but after years doing time in development hell, the George Miller-directed film finally rolled cameras this year and just wrapped principal photography after a six-month shoot in Namibia and South Africa. Now, a fuzzy first image of Tom Hardy as Mad Max has leaked, and we've got it for you.

But he's just a raggedy man, you say? Given the look of Max Rockatansky in the last three movies, this seems about right: lots of leather, dust and determination. The leaked image is a shot that Hardy reportedly gave to the crew on the last day on the filming.
Of the shoot, Hardy told the Belfast Telegraph, "It was an amazing experience. It's a big, live-action, fully articulated stunts piece, which picks up where we left off with the Mel Gibson Mad Max and takes it to the next level."
The plotline for the fourth film in the post-apocalyptic Aussie franchise from Miller reads: "Mad Max is caught up with a group of people fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by the Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron, sporting a close-cropped 'do). This movie is an account of the Road War which follows. It is based on the Word Burgers of the History Men and eyewitness accounts of those who survived."
Love those word burgers.
