Amy Winehouse Tribute Video Released
On December 2, Lioness: Hidden Treasures -- the first posthumous Amy Winehouse album -- will be released and the second new track from the disc has gotten an official companion video, that also functions as a tribute.
Our Day Will Come features Amy belting her finest 60s soul while the video shows her, throughout the years.
Lioness was positioned as the first of many posthumous releases, with hours upon hours of never-before-heard songs supposedly gathering dust, but the status of future releases came into question today as her label revealed many songs will never see the light of day.
"We've had to qualify [Lioness] in front of Amy's family. Her mum, her dad, her brother – that's her very vocal, protective brother – plus fiances, stepfathers and more," Island's Darcus Beese told Music Week magazine. He then went on to defend the posthumous release, saying, "She'd tell you … 'I f***ing wrote the songs. People should f***ing hear them.'" But Beese will respect her wishes and keep the ones she didn't want public in his vault.
