The track You Already Knew (produced by Cali producer Oh No) is the group's first official song in quite some time. It's been over 10 years (13 to be exact) since the acclaimed duo dropped their first album, Mos Def & Talib Kweli are Black Star, so it's great to see that their sophomore effort is on the horizon. Their new album is expected to come next year, which will be a pseudo tribute to Aretha Franklin entitled Black Star Aretha.

Once you take a listen to the song, it's easy to see that they've still got it lyrically. I guess the track's name certainly fits in that regard... I just wish it was 2012 already!
