Common Covers a Classic Nas Song
Common has shown us he can do it all: rapping, acting and even poetry tailor made for the White House. So what's a multi-faceted artist to do? Provide a new take on an old hip hop hit!
The Chi-city representative posted a video of him, directed by Court Dunn, spitting one of Nas' verses from his song Life's a Bitch off of his timeless Illmatic album. The words seem to hit harder thanks to Com's spoken word approach, which can help anyone witness the genius in the Queen's rapper's rhymes.
