Amy Winehouse's life and tragic death has all the makings of an Award-winning feature film, but the late-singer's father insists a biopic of his daughter's tumultuous life will never be produced if he has anything to do with it.
According to The Daily Mail, Mitch Winehouse (who owns his daughter's entire catalogue) shot down rumors that an ex-boyfriend of Amy's (Reg Traviss) was in talks to produce a biographical film, saying he would "never allow the songs to be released," adding the movie "would hardly be a biopic without the music."
Mitch is currently working on a memoir of his daughter with HarperCollins with all proceeds of the publication going to Amy's charity which benefits children in need.
