Tony Bennett Auctions Off Nude Lady Gaga Sketch
By KRISTA WICK
December 13, 2011
Not many men, women, or children can say they haven't seen Lady Gaga in various states of undress, but in an interesting turn of events (even for Gaga), Mother Monster takes her hot bod to the tip of a classic crooner's pencil.
Available for your bidding now on Ebay, the charcoal sketch penned by Tony Bennett is being auctioned off with an opening bid of $5,000 along with various other items relating to Gaga's 2012 Vanity Fair cover shoot.
If you're curious as to the reasoning behind the nude drawing (as you should be), it seems Gaga agreed to play Rose to Bennett's Jack at the insistence of photographer Annie Leibovitz.
The auction ends Monday, December 19 with proceeds going to Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation and Bennett's Exploring the Arts charity.
