At 16, UK singing sensation Birdy just released her self-titled debut record, has appeared on Ellen and, Conan in addition to walking The Hunger Games premiere red carpet (she has a song on the soundtrack).

When I got the chance to chat with Birdy I found out that she is still going to public school and has classmates that don't seem to really care she is a star. Her parents are total dolls and by the end of the interview I wanted to hug them all and go back to their house in the UK for tea.

I am going to be the first one to say it: Birdy is the next Adele. She's charming, raw and talented with a voice that is so much bigger than her 16 years should allow. I cannot say enough good things about Birdy. If you haven't already, pick up a copy of her debut record. On it she covers The XX's Shelter as well as Ed Sheeran's The A Team.
