A few weeks ago, I hung out with Bayside's front man Anthony Raneri before the Musink festival in Irvine. We discussed his debut solo EP, New Cathedrals and he was nice enough to play the first track off of said album, Sandra Partial.

For those who haven’t heard the EP, don’t expect a Bayside clone. Instead, New Cathedrals is an eclectic mix of rock, folk, country and reggae songs that Anthony has accumulated over the past few years. Furthermore, the entire disc was self made and funded by Anthony from top to bottom. I have always been a sucker for that D.I.Y. attitude.
