Cheyenne Jackson: From Broadway to iTunes
Broadway fans have been keenly aware of Cheyenne Jackson since he stormed the stage and snagged a slew of awards for his performance as Chad, in 2005's Elvis Presley jukebox musical All Shook Up.
The mainstream got a taste of his talent thanks to guest spots on 30 Rock and Glee, but Cheyenne is ready to unleash his full potential on the world with his first album of original songs!

"I've been writing for the last year and the songs have been gushing out," he told TheInsider.com. "I'm doing this mostly to get it out of me because it's cathartic but I also think the songs are pretty f*cking good. I've been writing with Sia and I'm just so excited for people to hear what we've been working on!"
And you finally can hear the goods as Drive, the lead single off his upcoming EP of the same name, has premiered online. And just because the accompanying video is animated, don't take that as a sign Cheyenne isn't willing to flaunt some flesh in future music videos in order to sell CDs. "I've used sex to sell everything in my whole career, so why stop now," he laughs.
But more than anything else, Cheyenne is excited as the act of making music has reinvigorated his passion for singing. "I'm a little dramatic so I can say this, but it's kind of exploded my head in that it's what I think I'm meant to do -- at least my mom thinks so." Give the song a spin and see if Mrs. Jackson is right!
