Adam Lambert Talks History-Making Album
Last week, Adam Lambert's sophomore album Trespassing debuted at number one on the Billboard Top 200 chart and number one on the Billboard Digital Albums Chart! When talking to ET Canada about the accomplishment, he said it, "Feels amazing. A lot of work went into the album. A lot of obsession. A lot of compulsion. It feels validating."

And while releasing the top selling album in the country is obviously an achievement every artist strives for, Adam's success is doubly sweet because Trespassing's number one debut also marks the first time in history than an openly gay artist has ever achieved this feat!

"[That's a] very cool milestone," he said. "I hope that it sends a message to the music industry that they shouldn't be scared. That it is possible to have commercial success with an openly gay artist. And hopefully it gives other out artists some encouragement and maybe even LGBT youth – gives them a sense that dreams are possible."
