'PLL' Star Lucy Hale Signs a Record Deal

Lucy Hale is set to take her singing career to a whole new level. The 23-year-old actress just signed a record deal with Hollywood Records.
"I can now share that I have recently been signed to Hollywood Records @HollywoodRecs! I couldn't be more excited to share my music with you," she tweeted today.
"Lucy's immense talent and passion for music make her a great fit for the label," Ken Bunt, Executive Vice President of Disney Music Group said in a statement. "We're very excited to be working with her."

So what will her music sound like?
Though her fans already know she can sing, (she won the reality singing competition American Juniors in 2003), Lucy teases that her sound will still be a bit of a surprise.
"It's going to be diff from anything you've ever heard from the label and not what you'd expect from me. Thanks for the support!," she tweeted.

Fellow Hollywood Records artists include Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez & The Scene.
Lucy is set to begin recording later this year, with her album due out in 2013.
