Daniel Radcliffe's Drunk Music Video
June 19, 2012
First Shia LaBeouf gave us the Full Monty in a steamy Sigur Ros music video and now Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe confronts his past alcohol demons by stumbling through an empty British pub and mouthing lyrics in a new video for rock band Slow Club.
In the video for the band's single Beginners, the 22-year-old star -- who has admitted drinking excessively in the past and even sometimes showing up drunk to the set of Harry Potter -- wakes up in a deserted bar after an apparent night of hard partying and begins wandering around and partaking in leftover drinks.

Radcliffe appears in a red Hawaiian shirt with disheveled hair as he stumbles around in a daze while lip-synching to the lyrics of the duo's Rebecca Taylor.
The actor is known as a big Slow Club fan, but the group's other half, Charles Watson, told Britain's The Guardian he was a little suprised he actually agreed to shoot the video. "After meeting him for the first time we were pretty blown away by how much he knew about our songs and when the time came to make a video, the director Lucy Needs had the script ready and thought it couldn't hurt to ask," Watson said.

The musician added about Radcliffe's performance: "We were only on set for an hour or so as we had a show that night but I was surprised by just how focused he was."
