When Art Alexakis walked into my interview, I was pretty sure my fangirl guts were going to spill out onto the floor. Everclear was my favorite band growing up, and Art is such a rock legend.

There are tons of great tours going out this summer, but I would have to put the quintuple-billed Summerland Tour (Everclear, Sugar Ray, Gin Blossoms, Marcy Playground and Lit) very high on my list. Art told me that the bands are all going out together, and playing their hits! It's a fangirl dream come true for any 90s baby.

Even more epic is Everclear's new record, Invisible Stars. This record is everything I hoped it would be. A perfect mix of old school Everclear, mixed with just hint of growing up and a touch a synth. The lead single Be Careful What You Ask For is so good, it is as if Everclear hasn’t been gone for the past 6 years.
