Adele posted some very happy news on her website today: The singing sensation is pregnant!

Adele writes: "I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx."

The 24-year-old Adele has been attached to boyfriend and fellow Brit Simon Konecki since last summer. According to People, the 36-year-old was previously married (he was divorced in '08) and is a former financier who co-founded the U.K. bottled water company Life Water. He also heads the company's charity, Drop4Drop, which brings clean water to developing countries.
