The Texan explains that it was her upbringing in the church that influenced her passion for music. Since then she has dedicated her life to her music and ministry.

Influenced by the 70's Motown & soul that her parents loved, Dara's music transcends barriers. She sends a clear message but does so through a thoroughly urban, contemporary pop lens. She's such a joy and to watch her lyrics come to life in her live performance was really compelling.
