Rebecca Black's BFF Releases a Song of her Own
When Rebecca Black's Friday music video came out, it became the talk of the cyber world. But, it wasn't only Rebecca who was at the brunt of all the harsh critics. Her good friend Benni Cinkle, who appeared along side Rebecca in the video, also discovered how cruel the internet could be. Dubbed "the girl in the pink" Benni was criticized for her unique dance moves in the video. (Note: this is how I dance all the time.)
After months of cruel comments and internet bullying, Benni took something negative and turned it into something really positive. She was inspired to start her That Girl In Pink foundation, and online give away her free internet survival guide.
She also got bitten by the singing bug and has just released her first single Gotta Get Out. I got the chance to hang with Benni and chat about all the things she has going on!
I love how positive and inspiring she is, proof that good things can come from even the strangest popular songs!
