I have loved The Fray  for so many years, so I was thrilled when they let me visit them backstage before their huge show at the Hollywood Bowl. What I love the most about this band, is that it's all about the music. There is no flashy marketing campaign, or hot gossip about these boys. They write perfect songs, people respond to that, and tell their friends and then their songs gain millions and millions of streams and views. I am pretty sure we can all remember when we first heard The Fray's breakout smash Over My Head (Cable Car) and thought, "Who is this band?"

The Fray released their third record (Scars & Stories) this year, and while many music snobs called the record "too serious" I thought it was just perfect. After all, who listens to The Fray to get a party started? This band is perfection at what they do best, the break your heart, the make you think and they sit beside you and hug you in your sadness.

The band have been on the road with Kelly Clarkson all summer playing to massive sold out crowds, and I got the chance to ask them all the gossip on her and what is next for The Fray!
